This article will guide you through setting up our Global Protect VPN Android and iOS devices.

Instructions

Navigate to either the Apple Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android)

  1. Install GlobalProtect

  2. Once installed, open Global Protect VPN

  3. Check that Portal is set to byodportal.essex.ac.uk and then click Connect

  1. You may then be asked to sign in with your University IT Account
